In Search of Passive Income

At age 67 I find myself as a boomer in a difficult spot. I went through a divorce at 54 years of age and lost a 30-year career at the same time. When the dust settled, I needed to start over with very little. I thought my life was over. I began to work with my hands in home renovation. I had talent and contracts for kitchens and bath renos but soon realized that I didn’t want to be carrying 4x8 sheets of gyprock up three flights of stairs. I went back to school and learned a new profession and continue to do very well. I am now remarried to a wonderful woman and we enjoy a comfortable life but we would like to travel and do extended stays in other parts of the world. Now at 67 I realize that I need to do something to earn passive income. Something I can do online from anywhere in the world. I want to make a retirement plan that is not so labour intensive.  Recently at the gym one morning I went to bump fists with a group of acquaintances/ friends, about my age, who were deep in conversation. When asked they said they were discussing how to make some extra income to make ends meet and invest for their future. I realized that I am not alone in my thoughts and dreams. I believe that there are many of you that are in the same position. Whether making ends meet, having a travel income, or avoiding the pitfalls of a reverse mortgage. Let’s give it a go!  I settled on the journey of affiliate marketing and this is my starting point. How can I help myself and others find some financial relief and even freedom? Join me on my journey. I will be completely honest about my progress and let you know step by step how to get going.
